What kinds of alignment do most publications use for setting their body content?

Flushed Left, Flushed Right, Centered, Justified

What are the "dangers" of things to guard against in designing for each of these?

Justified - gaps

Flush left - format filled with danger. Looks too even/uneven and can form shapes such as wedges, moons, diving boards.

Flush Right - flush or ragged edge suggest attraction or repulsion.

Centered - breaks lines and leaves a lot of white space.
